CrossFit Foundations On Ramp:
All newcomers to CrossFit Stillwater will be required to attend the CrossFit Foundations On Ramp before being allowed to participate in any regularly scheduled CrossFit classes.
The Foundations On Ramp takes you through the basics of CrossFit, and prepares you for group classes with a firm grasp of the movements and intelligent substitutions for exercises that suit your specific needs with an emphasis on proper form and technique for your safety and to ensure your success at the next level. We will introduce you first to technique and mechanics, then intensity. You will be learning movements that begin with the relatively nontechnical and progressively more technical. There will be a workout at the end of session which will get progressively more challenging as the course progresses.
The Foundations On Ramp consists of 12 one hour classes that begin the first Monday of each month and meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:00 pm. It’s important that you are here for each of the 12 sessions as these movements build on one another. Enrollment is limited to 6 people per class to insure adequate individual attention for each athlete. Athletes must demonstrate satisfactory knowledge of the material covered before being allowed to attend Workout Of The Day (WOD) classes.
